More focus on special children

KORAPUT: Institutions for the special children in Koraput district would receive better attention through joint efforts by the district administration and the general public.
Each one of the children living in these institutions were the extended family members of each concerned citizen in the district, said district Collector Rajesh Pravakar Patil on Wednesday. He was speaking as the chief guest of the dress distribution ceremony at Astha, the orphanage managed by the district administration with the support of Bright Career Academy (BCA).
While addressing the challenges faced by these institutions, including the school for blind, he said that the district administration would take special steps to meet their immediate requirements.
