Meet on Forest Rights Act
KORAPUT: Role of the elected public representative in the block and district level committees on Implementation of Forest Rights Act need to be realised and be given adequate importance to their views. This concern had emerged as one of the greatest concerns in the regional level consultation meeting on the challenges and possibilities in Forest Rights Act, organised by RCDC in the tribal museum at Koraput on Saturday. Members of the civil society organisations from six neighbouring districts discussed on different aspects of the act while offering specific inputs based on their field experience.
