Global award for Mishra

KORAPUT: ‘Janile Janiba’ , a radio programme on HIV/AIDS produced by All India Radio, Jeypore bagged this year’s best radio programme by Asia Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU), Ramshankar Parichha, programme executive of AIR, Jeypore said. The programme which was produced by Ashok Kumar Mishra in association of Narendranath Patnaik of the centre was unique for the live interviews that it had captured from 14 AIDS patients from the district. The hope for leading a normal life even after suffering from the deficiency was largely appreciated by the audience. Mr. Mishra and Mr. Patnaik were felicitated by the management.
