Call for peace
KORAPUT: Impact of the violent situation in Koraput district as a result of the disturbances in Narayanpatna and elsewhere could be felt in the speeches that were delivered by the speakers at the meetings being organised on the occasion of World Non-Violence Day at Koraput on Friday.
Gupteswar Panigrahy, an advocate of Koraput, while narrating the impact of the violent struggle of the tribals in Narayanpatna, urged the district administration to take steps so as to bring in peace in the region. He was speaking at a meeting which was organised at Sarvoday Samiti in the town.
