JNV staff observe hunger work day

KORAPUT: All the staff members of Jawahar Navoday Vidyalaya (JNV), Landiguda in Koraput district and at Khatiguda in Nabarangpur district observed the Teachers’ Day as hunger work day on Saturday demanding implementation of CCS Pension 1972 to the employees of JNV.
The observation was made on the call given by the joint action committee of employees of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas & Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti to impress upon the Central government to review and modify the pension scheme in respect of employees joined prior to 01.01.2004 with CCS pension 1972, the employees said.
