Five persons receive pattas
KORAPUT: Five persons from Putpandi of Mahadeiput panchayat in Koraput block became the first five to receive land pattas as a part of the implementation of Forest Rights Act in Koraput district. While four of them were given Patra Jungle Pattas, the rest one had got patta for the land in reserve forest area. G.V.B. Sharma, Secretary, W&CD SC/ST Department was present along with Gadadhar Paida, district Collector of Koraput at Tahsil office, Koraput where the distribution of pattas had taken place on Thursday.
