People at relief camps to stage demonstrations
KORAPUT: After staying for months at relief camps in and around Koraput town, people from Talagumandi, Upper Gumandi, Podapadar, Dumsil, Balipadar, Siriguda and Narayanpatna panchayats of Naarayanapatna block in the district have decided to go to Bhubaneswar to place their demands before the State government August 24.
These people, who were settled in the temporary camps at Koraput after having fled from their villages with fear of alleged attacks from Chasi Mulia Adivasi Sangh, had been to the State capital to place their demands last month.
