HAL celebrates Foundation Day
KORAPUT: Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) which was established in 1964 traces its roots to the pioneering efforts of an industrialist with extraordinary vision, the late Seth Walchand Hirachand, who had set up Hindustan Aircraft Limited at Bangalore in 1940 which was later merged with Aeronautics India Limited and Aircraft Manufacturing Depot, Kanpur, said Ashok K. Aseri, GM (Engine), HAL, Sunabeda at the foundation day of HAL in the Bhanja Mandap at Sunabeda.
