YRC training camp concludes
KORAPUT: The three-day district-level training camp of the Youth Red Cross (YRC) came to an end at S.D. Mahavidyalaya, Nandapur, on Saturday.
Awareness programmes on RTI Act, HIV/AIDS, etc. were held.
Some 70 students from 12 colleges took part, said Youth Red Cross district coordinator Nityananada Pradhan.
The participants also took to adventure tourism by undertaking a trek to Rani Duduma.
Zilla Parishad president Ashok Kumar Pangi attended the valedictory as chief guest and Koraput MLA Raghuram Padal, who was the guest of honour, also addressed the students.
