Support to CMAS leader

BHUBANESWAR: Several political parties and social organisations on Thursday came out in support Chasi Mulia Adivasi Sangha leader Nachika Linga who was wanted by the Koraput district police.
The leaders and activists released a poster with a photograph of the CMAS leader and writings questioning the police action against him and his supporters who were demanding land rights for tribal people in Narayanpatna area of Koraput. A large number of activists and politicians stood at the Master Canteen Square showing the posters to express solidarity with the CMAS leader and urged the people to strongly oppose the suppression of the democratic agitation of CMAS by the police. The parties and organisations that organised the poster release include Lok Shakti Abhijan, Samajwadi Janaparishad, CPI(M-L) Liberation, CPI(M-L), CPI(M-L) New Democracy and Malkangiri Adivasi Sangha.
